Our victory is the daily continuous work of every caring Ukrainian. Some protect us at the front, some volunteer and buy everything we need for soldiers or migrants, and some feed people. And right now all of this is vital!
One of such caring compatriots is Leonid Bezsonnyi, owner of the family restaurant “Green Park Pizza & Rest”. From the first days of the war, Leonid decided to be useful, as he himself once fled the Russian occupation in 2014. With his own strength, finances and food supplies, he and his team began preparing lunches for Drohobych’s territorial defense, delivering delicious food to checkpoints and volunteer centers. With the wave of refugees who came to our region, the work has increased. It’s hard to believe, but since February 24th Leonid’s “Green Park Pizza & Rest” has prepared more than 12 thousand meals! Even now, the restaurant feeds more than 100 IDP visitors daily.
For sure, Leonid’s own resources are not endless. There is a burning issue of funding and we just can not help but support Leonid in this noble cause. After all, everyone today has their own front and our support is needed more than ever!
