Meet our youngest ward, little Marko. The other day Marko was only ONE month old, but this little angel already needs our help in the fight for a healthy full-fledged childhood.
Marko is an extremely expected baby in the family, the pregnancy went well, neither doctors nor parents were worried. The baby was born on January 3 after a difficult birth. But instead of being with his mother, meeting happy relatives and older sister, Mark was sent by a reanimobile to the intensive care unit of OKHMATDYT, where his parents got to know about the disappointing diagnosis – congenital malformation of the bladder and urinary system – URINARY EXSTROPHY. It is difficult to imagine the despair of parents, because there are no specialized clinics in Ukraine to correct such pathology, such operations are extremely rare.
On the advice of people who also faced a similar problem, the parents turned to a clinic in Serbia with extensive experience in such operations. Marko has to undergo two operations – the first on the bladder, and the second – genital plastic surgery. But the required amount is unaffordable for the family – 12,000 euros for the first operation and approximately 10,000 euros for the next. Currently, the clinic has issued an invoice for the first operation, which is to take place on 18.05.2021.
The family begs for help from people who care, they sincerely believe in a miracle for their son! The soul hurts the most when children suffer … It is we who can become a lifeline for Marko, because more than once we have been convinced that only together we are strong!
